MP2040 at the Block Party
Stop by the Mount Prospect 2040 Comprehensive Plan booth at this year’s Mount Prospect Block Party on July 25–26! We’ll have a fun, interactive engagement station where you can share your ideas for the Village’s future, and potentially win a prize while you’re at it.
Try your hand at our special MP2040 game, meet the planning team, and help shape the long-term vision for how Mount Prospect grows, evolves, and invests over the next 10 to 15 years.

Community Invited to Help Shape Mount Prospect’s Future at Visioning Workshop
The Village of Mount Prospect invites residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to participate in a public Visioning Workshop for the Mount Prospect 2040 Comprehensive Plan (MP2040). The workshop will be held on Wednesday, July 16th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Village Hall (50 S. Emerson Street).
This interactive workshop is part of the MP2040 planning process, a long-term initiative to guide how Mount Prospect grows, evolves, and invests over the next 10 to 15 years. Participants will have the chance to share ideas, identify priorities, and use maps and markers to draw and discuss their vision for the Village. The evening promises to be a fun, hands-on opportunity to shape Mount Prospect’s future, and we encourage all residents and stakeholders to take part.
Aging in Mount Prospect
Planning staff will host an informational table at this year’s Aging in Mount Prospect event. Residents are invited to stop by, learn more about the planning process, and share their thoughts on how Mount Prospect can continue to support residents of all ages, especially older adults.

Engagement Station Events
What Is an Engagement Station?
An engagement station is a staffed activity booth where community members can learn about the comprehensive plan and share their input. It aims to meet people where they are and often includes activities, surveys, and other hands-on tools to make it easy for people of all ages to participate.
Stop by an Engagement Station this summer, spend a few minutes, and give input on the future of Mount Prospect.
