Attend the Second Reading for the MP2040 Comprehensive Plan

After more than a year of community input, technical analysis, and Steering Committee guidance, the MP2040 Comprehensive Plan is headed to the Village Board for its second reading.

Join us on Tuesday, October 6th at 7:00 p.m. at Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson St., as the Village Board considers adoption of the plan. This meeting follows the Planning and Zoning Commission's public hearing and the first reading of the Plan by the Village Board on September 15th. If the plan is adopted, this meeting will mark the last formal step before the plan takes effect.

The MP2040 Comprehensive Plan sets a long-term vision for Mount Prospect through 2040, with policies and recommendations guiding housing, transportation, economic development, parks, community facilities, and land use decisions for the next two decades.

Residents are encouraged to attend in person or watch the meeting live to hear the Board's discussion and vote. Copies of the draft plan remain available for review, in both digital and print formats, on this page.
